GCPA Pharmacy Student Scholarship

A $500 non-restrictive scholarship that can be utilized for any college-related expenses.

Applicant Criteria:

Must be a current member of the GCPA, in good standing.
Accepted into, or currently participating in a Doctor of Pharmacy program.
Demonstrate a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Provide the GCPA Executive Board with one letter of recommendation from a professionally active pharmacist (excludes family members).
Provide, at maximum, a one-page letter to the GCPA Executive Board on the importance of being a member of an active, professional organization and the benefits of such.
Complete the GCPA Scholarship Application (below) and submit all required materials by November 30th (awarded December of the same year).

GCPA Pharmacy Technician Student Scholarship

A $250 non-restrictive scholarship that can be utilized for any college-related expenses.

Applicant Criteria:

Must be a current member of the GCPA, in good standing.
Accepted into, or currently participating in a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) program or other educational advancement related to the practice of pharmacy.
Demonstrate a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Provide the GCPA Executive Board with one letter of recommendation from a professionally active pharmacist or technician (excludes family members).
Provide, at maximum, a one-page letter to the GCPA Executive Board on the importance of being a member of an active, professional organization and the benefits of such.
Complete the GCPA Scholarship Application (below) and submit all required materials by November 30th (awarded December of the same year).

GCPA Michigan Pharmacy Foundation Leadership Academy

GCPA formerly offered a scholarship that could be utilized for any MPF Health Professional Leadership Academy-related expense. The Foundation has made this program free; donations are still appreciate to help support the mission of the Foundation, which is "To Foster the Future of Pharmacy".
